How to Make Pizza Pinwheels - Step by Step
- Preheat the oven to 180C / 350F.
- Place puff pastry sheet on a clean, flat surface and spread tomato paste evenly across the sheet.
- Spread the rest of the toppings over evenly (photo 1), then roll the puff pastry sheet up tightly (photo 2). Use a sharp knife to cut into 10 scrolls (photo 3).
- Place scrolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or silicone mat (photo 4), then place in oven for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through completely.
Tip – If you’re making these as an appetiser and want a more elegant look, simply whisk an egg in a bowl and use a pastry brush to lightly brush the outside of each scroll before placing in the oven. This will give them a more golden look.
