Today's episode is going to teach you to get the most out of your fresh produce… and save some money along the way!

I chat to Angi Schneider from the blog SchneiderPeeps.  Angi has been growing and preserving food for more than 25 years and lives on a 1.5-acre homestead with her family on the Gulf Coast of Texas. She loves helping others discover the joy of gardening, preserving food, and living a more simple life. She shares her own journey of simple living on her blog, SchneiderPeeps and encourages others to live their own version of the simple life. She is also the author of The Ultimate Guide to Preserving Vegetables.

Angi shares so many wonderful tips and tricks in this episode, including what to do with the odds and ends of your vegetables to give them a second life, and how to freeze vegetables properly.
