I have some very exciting news to share with you all about some changes that are coming over the next few weeks. I‘ll give you a hint – it’s all in the name…
My Dear Readers,
I am SO excited to share some news that I’ve been holding close to my chest for the past few months.
Be Forever Healthier is getting a new name!
Introducing Cook It Real Good.
And if you are singing Salt & Pepa’s “Push It” in your head right now we can definitely be friends.
Over the next few weeks you’ll see my brand name officially change to Cook It Real Good, as well as some design changes to the website to make it better than ever.
Why the change?
When I first started blogging I had grand plans for this to be an all-encompassing health hub filled with recipes, lifestyle and general tips. However, I’ve felt a pull away from the “health space” for quite a while now.
The truth is, I’m more passionate about cooking good balanced real food than I am about the latest superfood or diet fad.
Healthy to me is a well-rounded diet. Everything in moderation, including moderation.
And having the word “healthier” in my name meant I couldn’t exactly share the odd sugar-laden dessert. But where’s the fun in that?
You probably noticed that this is well and truly a food blog now, and that won’t change with the rebrand.
But what will change is the type of recipes you’ll see around here.
When you are a blogger you hear the phrase “find your niche” constantly. You’re supposed to pick one style of food (baking, paleo, smoothies) and solely focus on it in order to find a large audience.
With this rebrand I’m doing something rather unorthodox and opening up my niche. Because if I’m being honest the whole niche thing never really suited me. I don’t eat one style of food or follow a certain diet all day everyday. And I’m going to boldly guess that you don’t either!
Food is my love language, and I want to share recipes I’m passionate about with you all.
Never fear – my bread and butter will still be every day easy, healthy and quick recipes that the whole family can enjoy.
But I’m also going to include some indulgence too.
Because the truth is, I don’t eat healthy all the time. I LOVE things smothered in cheese, crusty fresh bread and rich desserts that use regular old sugar, no substitutions.
And talking to so many of you over the years made me realise I’m not the only one.
So here’s to you, my dear reader. The one who eats healthy most of the time, but still likes to have her cake and eat it too.
There’re so many exciting recipes coming up and I just can’t wait to share them with you.
